At first I wanted to tear my eyes out when she started talking to the camera. Then she started with the winking. And some people love it. They say she was folksy. What's folksy? I mean, I've been around other people before. Actually, most of the people I know are not elite politicians from the DC corridors--yet no one has ever winked at me like that. I get the shivers just remembering her winks.
I didn't have have the misfortune of watching the vice presidential debate, but the reference is rather amusing. I know my parents were watching at the time though. I could hear them dying when they were in the room watching it though, so I'm guessing it really did have the effect that this picture shows. Is this really all because of winking? Geez.

John, what's type7? I hope your parents are safe. If they watched the debate on CNN, maybe all the graphs at the bottom distracted them enough and they missed all the winks.
